The CherryHill Orchards’ story began in 1940 when our grandfather, George Riseborough planted his first cherry trees in Victoria’s fertile Yarra Valley. 84 years later, CherryHill is still 100% Australian owned and our family proudly carries on our cherry growing tradition with diligence and passion to produce Australia’s finest cherries.

The best place to purchase the freshest cherries in Melbourne. With two farmgate stores located just one hour from Melbourne’s CBD, CherryHill Orchards is stocked with fresh cherries from our Victorian orchards throughout summer, from November through to late January. While you’re here, you can grab a cherry ice cream, refreshing beverages, or discover lots of cherry-inspired goodies!

Cherry-Picking
CHERRY-PICKING HAS CONCLUDED FOR THE SEASON.
Every year, from early November through to early January, we open the gates to our two Yarra Valley orchards for the public to pick their own cherries fresh from the tree. We encourage guests to pack a picnic and enjoy the scenic grounds after their cherry-picking experience.
Our farmgate store and café on-site serve up delicious cherry ice cream, beverages, and lots of cherry goodies!
